This summer, for my clients, has all been about ‘paperwork’, it’s been most peculiar, every client calling with a declutter challenge has been to, “Sort my paperwork!”
Many of my clients simply don’t know where to start when it comes to organising their paperwork. Some are even reluctant to address this challenge because they are afraid of what they will find, perhaps unpaid bills, demand letters or missed opportunities.
Some are even embarrassed, they are reluctant to open up this area of their life, because they feel they should have a better grip on things. Some don’t even want to start because many of them find the prospect so boring.
Decluttering and organising paper work does take a lot of brain energy because you are having to make continuous decisions over a reasonably long period of time…but the benefits are worth it!
One of the most essential tools a busy home can have is a ‘Bring Forward System’. All those tasks that need to be done, not now, but sometime in the future…where do they go, yes, in the Bring Forward System, in the correct month and date, ready and waiting for the right time for you action them.
